For its 15th edition, The IEEE international conference on logistics and supply chain management (LOGISTIQUA) will take place at will take place at the University of Sousse in Tunisia.
In addition to the conference’s traditional research areas, this edition will highlight the issue of sustainable development in its relationship with the various aspects of the Supply Chain and transport.
In fact, we are witnessing a generalized international awareness of sustainable development issues, particularly those related to environmental protection. Faced with this challenge, the entire supply chain, including transport, is at the forefront. Also, under the pressure of climate change, the harmful effects of pollution in all its forms, social and societal challenges in addition to tightening regulations, supply chain actors must mobilize to address the challenge of sustainable development.
Therefore, the management of global supply chains (GSCs) in all its dimensions must imperatively integrate the constraints of sustainable development, in its environmental, economic and social dimensions, at the risk if not of seriously compromising their sustainability. This awareness has a strong impact on the management of physical flows and the management of relationships with the various actors in the Supply Chain (Customers, Suppliers…). At this 15th edition of the international conference on logistics and supply chain management LOGISTIQUA 2024, we would like to focus attention on the SD and resilience issues.
